Our mission is to be your dog’s home away from home by providing a safe place for your dog to run, play and learn. We treat every dog in our care as a member of The Canine Clubhouse family and their comfort is our number one priority. Dogs are such amazing creatures and are not only smart but they also love to learn. For this reason, we include daily mental stimulation, social enrichment and of course lots of supervised playtime in our program.

The Canine Clubhouse offers premium doggy daycamp and boarding in the Ottawa area. Our facility offers a small retail space and carries natural pet products which includes local homemade treats that we use at our facility. Our play area is equipped with rubber mats made of recycled tires and its resilience/durability/anti-fatigue qualities are perfect to help reduce stress to the legs and paws of our canine friends.  

Our advantage is that we are a small group of professionals with extensive experience with dogs. Our founder Caroline and main dog care provider is a certified dog trainer and she oversees all aspects of the Canine Clubhouse including the entire team of care professionals.

We use force-free techniques at our facility and are one of the only positive reinforcement-based facilities in the area – meaning the use of prongs, electric collars, choke chains, and spray bottles are not permitted. In addition, we do behavior assessments for all dogs entering the daycamp/boarding facility in order to make ensure they are a good fit!
